Built to Solve
Israel J. Johnson is an inventor, entrepreneur, and product developer driven by a lifelong desire to improve the world around him.
Since beginning his product-development journey in 1999, Israel has continually looked at everyday products, processes, and problems and asked a simple question: Is there a better way to do this?
That mindset led to the development of his early product, the Super Fish Scaler, and has continued through a growing portfolio of inventions spanning kitchen tools, recreational products, consumer wellness technology, and other new concepts.
Israel believes invention is about more than creating something new. It is about creating something useful. His approach focuses on simplicity, safety, functionality, and improving the experience of the person ultimately using the product.
Faith is also central to Israelu2019s work. He believes creativity, opportunity, and purpose are gifts from God and that those gifts should be used in service of others. He sees invention as one way to fulfill that responsibility by solving problems, helping people, and creating products that can make a positive difference.
The Super Oyster Shucker reflects that philosophy. Developed as an alternative to conventional oyster-opening methods, the product rethinks a traditional process with the goal of making it safer, easier, and more approachable.
Other projects show the range of Israelu2019s creativity. The Tube Men Field Goal Blockers concept combines sports and entertainment with inspiration from his brother Ezra Johnsonu2019s football career, while newer concepts such as OMNILIFT explore consumer wellness and wearable technology.
Israel is constantly observing, questioning, experimenting, and developing. He believes good ideas can come from almost anywhere: a conversation, an inconvenience, a family experience, a workplace problem, or simply noticing something that has never been improved.
His mission is simple:
- Create products with purpose.
- Solve meaningful problems.
- Serve others through innovation.
- Honor God through the work.
